<p>Do we need an excuse to play old games? Hell no! But sometimes music from OSTs can inspire us to try new ones or revisit past loves like dirty, secret affairs.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="250" height="202" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/u5mK2SV7Dws&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="250" height="202" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/u5mK2SV7Dws&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>Take a chubby boy named Mike, have aliens kidnap his uncle, stick him on an island with a yo-yo, and mix in a little tribal witch-doctoring and you&#8217;ve got <em>StarTropics</em> for the NES. With one of the most whacked out premises, <em>StarTropics</em> took the concept and made it as successful as it was memorable. Plus, Mike can travel from place to place in a submarine operated by a robot named NAV-COM. That&#8217;s, like, every kid&#8217;s dream. Or it should be.</p>
<p>From a weaponized yo-yo to ray guns, bosses like Octo the Huge and a giant C-Serpent that shoots fire from its mouth, <em>StarTropics</em> graced the console with its bold, fun adventure. Let&#8217;s go help some dolphins.</p>
<p>What are some of your favorite Sounds of Nostalgia?</p>
