Matthew Vaughn dishes out another teaser for his upcoming Kick-Ass big screen adaptation: a photo of Chloe Moretz as the infamous Hit Girl, aka Mindy Macready.
San Diego Comic-Con International will be announcing its day-by-day, full panel run-down next week, but /Film confirms that the first footage of Kick-Ass will be revealed at this year’s Con—specifically on Thursday, July 23, near the end of the day. I personally can’t wait to join fans in drooling over the stunts and action.

You may have noticed my strange lack of writing over at the Girls Entertainment Network this week. I promise there’s a perfectly logical explanation for that.

The comics team and I are happy to announce something we’ve been working on for months: a week-long, ten-article Eisner Awards review feature and contest. Over fifty books reviewed! And you can win free swag, sent to you by beautiful ladies! How great is that?!
The feature goes live starting Monday, July 6th, and ends Friday, July 10th. You can enter any day of the contest by simply leaving at least one comment—so make sure to include your email and keep an eye on your inbox the following week!
