Indie Plug #1: Tower of Heaven

Looking for some free games to pass the time? Introducing Tower of Heaven, a freeware title from indie game developer Askiisoft.
Styled in the color scheme of an original GameBoy game, Tower of Heaven challenges you to a Simon Says round of platforming. When you first approach the tower spiraling into the heavens, God looks down grumpily and hopes you’ll fall to your death or lose a limb on one of the many saws grinding into the structure. When that doesn’t stop your determined little climber, God decides to make your persistence into a game: Follow his rules, or be smitten.

He sets before you a Book of Laws, and adding one by one, he enforces them together. “Thou shalt not touch yellow blocks?” Easy enough. But “Thou shalt not walk left?” while not touching yellow blocks? A bit trickier, and you’re given a strict time frame to accomplish each new task.
The sprightly theme by FlashyGoodness will keep you pressing onwards through this addictive and simple yet demanding game. Just try not to take the lord’s name in vain whenever you forget a golden rule.
