Wipeout and Super Stardust seem like they’d make for good handheld titles. Army Corps of Hell looks pretty cool as well.

I’d be excited for Modnation Racers if United Front got their act together, but that series is one whole mess of wasted potential. Blegh.

Escape Plan looks cute and interesting! I hadn’t heard of it before.

And Silent Hill: Book of Memories looks awful. I really wish they’d release a more old-school SH game.

I’m fully aware that in its day, OoT was a big deal, but I never claimed to be judging the two games based on their generational merits. Nostalgia is nostalgia for a reason: A game can be wonderful at one point in time and still fail to age well. OoT ages well, but not well enough, and the time has come for gamers to let go of stubborn childhood fantasies and open their minds to new possibilities. Skyward Sword is a Zelda game that perfects much of what OoT was trying to accomplish, and for that reason it is, by definition, the better game.

Absolutely horrible arguments. You’re comparing two games that came out 13 years apart. SS has more technology and computing power supporting it. However, if you look at their respected release times, OOT was ahead of its time and SS was representative of its time. You also wrote that you just played OOT for the first time recently so I don’t think you have the right to make the comparison unless you played the games during their respected times. Skyward Sword falls 3rd behind OOT and MM. Not to mention ALTTP is also better.

Loki was my favorite character. I love the fact they are these superior Gods and they ride horse back. I made the mistake by reading Thor The Might Avenger by Robert Landridge and Chris Samnee. IT’S SO GOOD!

You pretty much summed up how I felt. Loki came off kind of different from how I always envisioned him while reading the comics but I like the movie version much more.
On another note, this is one of the only modern Hollywood Summer movies that spends a lot of time and energy showing off male physicality but never throws in any scantly clad ladies. Maybe Amora the Enchantress from the comics should have been included.
